Product description:

  • Composition: essential oil, phytoncides, flavonoids, saponins, carotene, organic acids, and tannins.
  • Action: antimicrobial, antispasmodic, bactericidal, anti-inflammatory (accelerates wound healing).


  • Used as tea - in cases of disease of the liver, jaundice, stomach ulcer, dropsy, inflammatory bowel disease, blood in the urine, hypertension, calming the nervous system, diseases of the gall bladder, kidney stones, and urinary disorders.
  • Used as tincture – in cases of edema, stretched muscles, bruises bruised, for douches and baths against genital fungus.
  • Used as ointment - for postoperative wounds, burns, bruises, frostbite wounds and varicose veins.

Method of preparation:

  • Tea - a tablespoon of calendula heads should be poured over with 200ml of boiling water, brewed for 10 minutes, and then strained. It is recommended to consume it unsweetened.
  • Tincture - 100 grams (a handful) of calendula heads should be poured with 1 liter ofbrandy or rubbing alcohol (50 degrees), left to stay in the sun or in a warm place for 14 days, and then strained through cheesecloth.
  • Calendula oil - chopped calendula heads are placed in a glass container (jar), poured over with extra virgin olive oil, so that the marigold heads are covered. It should stay like this for 40 days in a cool dark place. Then it should be strained through cheesecloth and refrigerated. It can be used directly on wounds or added to the cream (cosmetic or medical).
